*Everyone have a nice Thanksgiving? Or Thursday, if you’re one of our Canadian friends? If you missed it, we had a few things we felt thankful for this year. [BSH]

*We weren’t the only ones, though. Truth is, we have a number of things to be thankful for as Flyers fans right now. It’s nice. [NBC Sports Philly]

*Like, for example, the fact that for the first time in nearly a decade, the Flyers are in a playoff spot at the American Thanksgiving benchmark. Good stuff, folks! [BSH]

*Chris Stewart and his family hosted most of the Flyers’ young guys for Thanksgiving, which is such a nice gesture. He really does seem like a fantastic person. Shame about the whole “terrible at hockey” thing. [Courier-Post]

*Don’t forget, we’ve got a nice little afternoon hockey game today. The annual Black Friday game kicks off at 4pm at The Farg. Hopefully you won’t be at work. [Yahoo Sports]

*Our pal Dan Carcillo continues to prove that he is determined to make a difference in the lives of his hockey playing brethren, no matter the cost. [CBC]

*There have been quite a few goal-of-the-year level goals so far this season, and it’s probably not an accident. It would appear that creativity is becoming a good thing in the NHL. [ProHockeyTalk]

*And, in case you missed the Turkey Day drop, we’ve got a brand new Flyperbole! As always, nothing better on a Friday. [BSH]
