*Well, we knew it was coming. We all probably hoped the return would be a little better. But Wayne Simmonds is heading to a very good team and that’s a nice thing. Here’s hoping he absolutely crushes and the Preds take a nice long run this year. [BSH]

*Chaz had a presser after the deadline passed, and his comments make a lot of sense. [Philly.com]

*Bill Meltzer offers a very nice tribute to Wayne Simmonds as he heads out of town. [Hockeybuzz]

*We have a little tribute as well! Gonna miss this dude. He was fun to have on our team, huh? [BSH]

*So, what do the Predators fans think of this trade? [On The Forecheck]

*Anyhoo, here is a full rundown of everything that happened yesterday. [SB Nation]

*We’ll also be getting Radko Gudas back tonight and Sam Morin has been called up from the Phantoms. [NBC Sports Philly]

*Our old pal Jordan Weal is being reunited with Dale! How nice! Here’s hoping Weal lands a nice solid role with the Canadiens. [Habs Eyes on the Prize]
