Only two games left.
We’re finally nearing the finish line to a season that has lasted, by conservative estimates, 29 months. There’ve been a ton of downs and two months of some ups. Carter Hart-Mania has been great. Hearing about how great the faceoff percentage has been, and how Robert Hagg and Radko Gudas (who was scratched for Samuel Morin on Tuesday night) are first and second in hits by defensemen.
Speaking of all those hits, to answer a question about the hit-count scoring between home and away on this show, Hagg has been credited with 132 hits in 40 games at home, and 123 hits in 40 away games. So only a difference of 0.225 hits/game. Gudas, on the other hand, has 143 hits at home and 111 in 37 road contests. So three-quarters of a hit per game difference. Admittedly, at least according to Natural Stat Trick, my home-town scoring theory regarding Hagg is incorrect.
That’s all I’ve got here. For the rest, listen to postgame. It was actually less repetitive than has been the case recently, I swear.
