*Oh... everyone have a nice weekend? Getting pretty wild around here! Chuck has kicked off the Summer with a trade and a long-overdue roster move. First up, Gudas was shipped to Washington for Matt Niskanen. [BSH]

*Evidently this is a trade the Flyers have been considering for a bit. [NBC Sports Philly]

*We’ve got a lot to think about with regard to this trade. Here, though, are what the Caps’ fans are saying. [Japers’ Rink]

*Niskanen seems excited about the opportunity to play here and thinks this team is ready to turn a corner. [NBC Sports Philly]

*It’s fair for us to have a little bit of wariness about Niskanen, whose play dropped off a bit last season. But it may be that his value is more... intangible. Everyone’s favorite kind of value. [Inquirer]

*Speaking of intangible value, the Andrew MacDonald era has come to its end. [BSH]

*One hopes that these changes on the blueline will allow some of the kids whose roles have been a bit limited more time to shine. Sam Morin, for his part, is ready to go. [Inquirer]

*And in even more good news, Chuck Fletcher is ready for Phil Myers to make his mark on this team. [NBC Sports Philly]

*Our prospect profiles continued over the weekend with looks at Matthew Boldy, Bowen Byram, and Philip Broberg.

*The St. Louis Blues celebrated their Cup win on Saturday and it sure did look like a good party. [St. Louis Post-Dispatch]

*After the playoffs, the guys playing through injuries reveal just how bad they were hurting and they’re lauded as heroes. But is this good? [NY Post]

*Our pal Eric Lindros continues his work in Canada on anti-concussion efforts. [Yahoo Sports Canada]

*And finally... if you haven’t had enough mock drafts, good news! BSH Radio is doing one as well, in audio format! Hope you enjoy. [BSH]
