The Flyers trade the 11th overall pick to Arizona for the 14th and 45th overall pick

Chucky two-trades is at it again.

Just when we thought the Flyers were finally going to make their pick and take (hopefully) Cole Caufield, they have traded the pick to the Arizona Coyotes for the 14th overall pick and the 45th overall pick of this year’s draft. Chuck Fletcher has been active the entire offseason and he’s at it again with this deal. Although slightly annoying at first glance, this looks like a really good value move for the team.

Getting a second round pick after dealing that in the Justin Braun trade and only moving down three spots in the draft still gives the Flyers a top 15 pick and their second rounder back. We shall see what Fletcher does with the 14th pick.

More to come...
