*After a day of rumors suggesting it, Ivan Provorov has FINALLY signed an extension, just in time for today’s opening of training camp. Hot damn. [BSH]

*Those in the know seem to suggest that Travis Konecny is still not close to a deal. Like, not close at all. So... what are we looking at if he holds out? [BSH]

*On to good news! The top line that played in Wednesday’s rookie game was so fun to watch, and with camp starting today, we’ll get to see them play with the big boys. [Courier-Post]

*The top line wasn’t it, though. Quite a few standouts to be sure, but we narrowed them to five. [BSH]

*And Charlie’s 10 Things is back! It truly is hockey season, friends. [The Athletic]

*Meltzer has some notes on the game, with a few other tidbits. [Hockeybuzz]

*Phil Myers was nearly flawless in that game, and folks? That’s because Phil Myers isn’t a prospect. Phil Myers is an NHL player. [NBC Sports Philly]

*Corey Pronman’s got his latest prospect ratings together, and the Flyers fare quite well on it this time around. [The Athletic]

*And finally, in case you missed it, new BSH Radio! We get all the way into this contract nonsense. It’s fun. [BSH]
