Slap Shots: Flyers vs Lightning

The Flyers were back in action Saturday night at the Wells Fargo Center against the red-hot Tampa Bay Lightning.

Oskar Lindblom was in attendance after visiting the team this week. He was greeted with a standing ovation and extremely loud cheers.

The game was tightly-contested. Good goaltending was the theme of the night for both teams, as Carter Hart and Andrei Vasilevskiy battled to keep the puck out of the net. Patrick Maroon would get the best of Hart, after a failed swat of the puck from Matt Niskanen led to the only goal of the game.

Tampa Bay ended the Flyers five-game home winning streak. The Orange and Black return to the ice Monday at home to face the Boston Bruins.
