Boring as hell (the game not the podcast)

My god, what a boring damn game.

Forget the 1-0 final score and the fact that the Philadelphia Flyers lost at home for only the second time since November 23, but it just seemed like nothing happened on Saturday night at the Wells Fargo Center.

Considering the immense talent in the Tampa Bay Lightning’s lineup, it’s not like they made a ton happen, either, scoring only once on a weird play that saw Matt Niskanen try to bat down a floater, only for Patrick Maroon to block the volley and shovel the puck underneath Carter Hart for the game’s lone tally.

Beyond that... yawn.
