*Ahh, the first shutout of the season. The first one always stings the most, huh? Anyway, here’s what we learned from a boring 1-0 loss to Tampa. [BSH]

*The Allentown/Philadelphia express continues to roll with the Flyers swapping David Kase for Connor Bunnaman. [Phantoms Hockey]

*Bunnaman has been playing quite well for the Phantoms recently, it would seem. [BSH]

*If you’re calling up a center Morgan Frost seems like the logical choice but alas, Morgan still seems to be trying to find his game down in the AHL. [Courier-Post]

*At the start of the season, we saw a lot of the Flyers storming back after slow starts, digging out of holes, and various other “overcoming adversity” kinds of things. Now, that seems to have dried up. This season in a nutshell. [NBC Sports Philly]

*The Flyers’ power play continues to be this team’s weakest weakness and there doesn’t seem to be reason to be confident it’ll be sorted any time soon. [Courier-Post]

*Alain Vigneault has been lucky enough to coach teams with some very, very good goaltenders over the course of his career. But none have been like Carter Hart. [Inquirer]

*The Devils fired their GM. You could say things are going pretty well for them this season. [ProHockeyTalk]

*And finally, the game was a bust, but Oskar Lindblom made an appearance at Saturday’s game and boy oh boy was it nice to see. [NBC Sports Philly]
