The Philadelphia Flyers were back in action for 80s night at the Wells Fargo Center. The Orange and Black were looking to bounce back against the Los Angeles Kings, who they lost to on New Year’s Eve.
Travis Konecny opened the scoring off a beautiful pass from James van Riemsdyk to get the building going. JVR then found Konecny early in the second and he buried his second goal of the evening.
Midway through the second Joel Farabee got on the board for the second-consecutive game. After Dustin Brown got the Kings on the board, JVR added a goal to give him a three-point night and cap a 4-1 win for the Flyers.
They return to action on Tuesday against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
