*Another game out west, another loss. So it goes. Im the last game before coming back east, the Flyers dropped a big one on Arizona ice. This road trip couldn’t end soon enough. [BSH]

*Carter Hart was, again, not very good in that game in Glendale. The Flyers’ success this season likely depends on his ability to figure out how to win on the road. [Inquirer]

*In better news, Morgan Frost has been named to this year’s AHL All-Star game. Probably because he belongs in the NHL. [BSH]

*Going back to that Kings game, the DoPS suspended noted dirtbag Kurtis MacDermid for two games for his very dirty hit to Ivan Provorov’s head. [NBC Sports Philly]

*The WJC wrapped up this weekend, with Canada beating the Russians for gold. Our pal Egor Zamula had a hell of a tourney for the Russians. [Sportsnet]

*In that vein, can the NHL ever really be trusted to keep its players safe? [Habs Eyes On The Prize]

*Halfway through the season, it’s pretty clear that the Flyers are a much improved team with much more improvement needed. [Inquirer]

*Support for Oskar Lindblom, who has started his treatments at Penn, continues to pour in from around the league. [NBC Sports Philly]

*The Penguins dumb would-be backup goaltender couldn’t be called up because he lost his passport. This is hilarious. [ProHockeyTalk]

*And finally, looking back through the Flyers’ jersey history, there’s really only one clunker. Which is pretty good. [BSH]
