The NHL and adidas have revealed the jerseys for the 2020 NHL All-Star game in St. Louis and let me tell you they don’t exactly hit the high note.
Design-wise, the jerseys carry a wild ADIZERO Authentic Pro moniker from adidas, and feature a striping pattern on the front of both the white and black versions that mimics that of a musical staff. The makes sense because the host city is home to the Blues, whose logo is that of a musical note. The silver in the stripes is meant to represent the Gateway Arch, also located in host city St. Louis.
Overall I can’t say that they’re the best we’ve ever seen as far as All-Star weekend goes, and the bar there is quite high, but they’re also not hideous monstrosities either.

The white versions really pop with the logos, which are shaded almost totally toward one color, which is somewhat neat and different.
Here are the Flyers’ versions, of which at least first time All-Star Travis Konecny will be wearing.

Now is a good time to point out that you can still vote for Claude Giroux to join him in St. Louis via the fan vote where you can submit up to 10 votes per 24 hours. Voting ends January 10th, so get online and vote to get the captain in!
Must say that the white version with the Flyers’ iconic logo emblazoned in orange is pretty sweet. The highlighter-style orange really pops on the white background with the sliver striping.
If I wasn’t immediately going to get Chickie’s and Pete’s cheese sauce all over it I’d totally be down to rock one of those bad boys any day of the week.
Anyways, those are the 2020 All-Star threads, what say you, gentle reader?
