*You’ll be shocked to learn that there wasn’t a ton in the way of hockey content pushed out yesterday. There was that whole other thing going on, you know. But we’ll do what we can.

*Anyhoo, Alex Lyon is worried about all the goalies who have been sitting around for... well for some it’s been nearly 9 months. They’ve had no reps. Taken no shots. Cleared zero creases. It’s going to be tough when they pick back up. [Inquirer]

*Apparently the league is kicking around the idea of starting next season in a unique way — which would make for a lot of fun! What wacky idea would you like to see the league consider? I’m thinking they go fill Minnesota-pond-hockey-tournament and host like, 4 concurrent games on one big, frozen, shoveled out lake. [ProHockeyTalk]

• We talked with a minor league GM in Manitoba about one of the Flyers’ oft-overlooked prospects. [BSH]
• Did a little projecting of the Phantoms’ roster for this upcoming season. [BSH]

• And while they may not be projected to make the final roster, a couple of our kiddos are getting a shot at Team Canada. [BSH]
