We’ve got some good news happening on this fine Saturday, gang! With the World Junior tournament just around the corner, the United States has announced their final roster, and the Flyers will be well represented, as prospects Bobby Brink and Cam York have made the team.

This really shouldn’t come as a huge surprise—both players are returning from the 2020 team—but it’s still a nice development, all the same. And, given their veteran status on the team, this should (hopefully!) mean that they’ll be given more significant roles to work with this time around. They’ve got a chance to really impress on the international stage! No pressure.
The US team is set to head into the bubble in Edmonton now, and then pre-tournament play will kick off on December 20, before the proper tournament opens on the 25th. It’s all coming up right around the corner, and it’s a lot to be excited about.
