Flyers World Cup of Hockey: #4 Finland vs #5 Russia

After edging out their matchup 104 to 55, it will be Team Sweden advancing!

To end the first round, Finland and Russia will battle it out in what is sure to be an exciting prospect! In goal, Sergei Bobrovsky will go up against Antero Nittymaki in the battle of Flyer goaltenders with brief tenures. For Russia, they hope to be bolstered by Ivan Provorov, as their forward core do not boast many star names. They’ll go up against a terrific goalscorer in Illka Sinisalo and offensive defenseman Kimmo Timonen.
