As we have an uneven number of teams, the top seed, Canada, will get a bye into the next round, and so our first matchup then, will be the United States against Rest of Europe.

In goal, we have two of the Flyers’ more memorable goalies from the 2010’s as Brian Boucher will square off against Rob Zepp. Will the shutdown presence of Michal Handzus and hard work of Michael Raffl be enough to contend against the dynamic duo of John Leclair and Jeremy Roenick? Can Mark Howe contend with Dainius Zubrus on the rush? (I laughed typing that)
