The Philadelphia Flyers completed a home-and-home sweep by defeating the New York Rangers on Sunday afternoon at the world’s most famous train station, registering their sixth consecutive win, and pulling within one point of the Metropolitan division lead.
The power play went 3/5 and has been operating at nearly 27% since January 8. Pretty much every facet of Philly’s game has been working at a high level since returning from the 1-4-1 post-Christmas road trip.
Carter Hart wasn’t spectacular today, but earned his fourth road victory of the season, and fought off a flurry at the end of the game to preserve the two goal lead.
This feels like the start of something special. This team is poised for a run. Listen to the postgame and GET FLYERED UP!
