It appears that a loss is not the only result from last night’s game against the Bruins. The official Flyers twitter account Wednesday afternoon tweeting the following news about newly acquired forward Nate Thompson:

Bunnaman, 21, has played in 21 NHL games with the Flyers this year, scoring one goal and providing one assist. If he plays, it will be his first NHL game since February 22nd.

The Flyers also announced another call up in wake of the Phil Myers injury:

It is unknown whether Friedman will play in the starting six or not, though I can imagine that his call up is simply precautionary in order to have a defenseman ready to play as Shayne Gostisbehere stepped in to fill Myers’ spot.
