*There are a lot of conflicting feelings to be had about this restart, to be sure, but goddang if it isn’t nice to have the boys on the ice and the focus to be on regular old hockey things for a bit. *So would you say you’re glad the league has decided to restart? Or do you think this is a really bad idea? As we said, the conflicting feelings are to be expected. [Pension Plan Puppets]

*The other big news yesterday in Flyersville was that Mark Friedman was given a shiny new contract. [BSH]

*Looking back on some interesting facts and figures from this season, pre-pause. [Inquirer]

*And looking ahead at another one of the kids the Flyers may target in the upcoming draft. [BSH]

*Is it too early to start getting excited about the Olympics? Absolutely not. So, who’s making Team USA? [ProHockeyTalk]

*And who will we be facing on the Canadian squad? Oh man McDavid v. Matthews is going to be SO MUCH FUN. [ProHockeyTalk]

*And finally, as the teams get closer to returning to real games, sans fans, DGB looks at some iconic NHL moments that would’ve been really, really different if there were no butts in the seats. [The Athletic]
