*Ahh, the hazy days of summer. Hazy. Hayes-y. Anyway Kevin Hayes rules and as such was award the Gene Hart Memorial Trophy. [BSH]

*In the first of this week’s Rivalry Week funsies, we’re giving you some reasons to hate the Winnipeg Jets. All the players do so why shouldn’t we? [BSH]

*And we don’t need to give you any reasons to hate the Boston Bruins, so we’ll just explain our personal reasonings behind it. [BSH]

*Travis Konecny... he’s pretty good, huh? [NBC Sports Philly]

*Wyatt Kalynuk has elected to sign with the Blackhawks. Have fun out there, kid. [BSH]

*We are just a few days away from the presumptive start of training camps across the league, and there are nine more positive virus tests to contend with. [ProHockeyTalk]

*Last night we learned there is a presumptive agreement on the return plans and such, which is a pretty big deal. [NHL]

*When the Flyers report to their bubble, it’ll be right up in Toronto. Which makes sense, but you never really know how the NHL will end up doing things. [Inquirer]

*You may not have know this, but inside the big city bubble there will be a smaller, more secure bubble. What will it look like in there? And how do you get in it? [Sportsnet]

*Say what you will, looking at a breakdown of all of the protocols the league is putting into place really does suggest that they’re really doing everything they possibly can to keep these guys safe. [TSN]

*With the draft being super wacky this year, it seems like a fine time to revisit what seems to be the most popular of the “alternative” draft schemes: The Gold Plan. [HockeyViz]

*And finally... wait, you people like Gary Bettman?? That’s wild. [BSH]
