*It was an exciting weekend of hockey, if you’re still into that kind of thing. First the Lightning went up three games to one Friday night, and then Dallas came right back Saturday to climb back to just one game down. Even with the back-to-back games, the removal of travel from the equation seems to benefit both teams. [AP]

*Anyhoo, the Flyers. They resigned Alex Lyon for another year as we headed into the weekend. [Flyers]

*With Lyon locked up, what should we expect on the Brian Elliott front? [NBC Sports Philly]

*With the entry draft very rapidly approaching, the Community Draft Board can’t afford to take weekends off. So in case you missed it, we started Saturday with the eighth overall pick, a bonafide sniper from the SHL... [BSH]

*... a goaltender at nine?? Woo you people are nuts, my goodness... [BSH]

*... our first Finnish player of the draft makes an appearance at number ten... [BSH]

*... and we finished up the weekend at number 11, a forward from the WHL. We’ll have your pick for twelfth overall later this morning. [BSH]

*Speaking of the draft, here are all the details you’ll need to enjoy the heck out of it. [ProHockeyTalk]

*You may have seen some comments about Morgan Frost from Brent Flahr over the weekend; he was talking about how long it has been since he’s played. In fact, being a Black Ace in the bubble may have been the hardest job of all. [ProHockeyTalk]

*And finally, the Tampa Bay Lightning will have another chance to close out this Cup Final tonight; and as they say, you gotta beat the best to be the best. So how’d the Flyers fare against the Bolts this season? [NBC Sports Philly]
