*Camp opened yesterday and as of today we are only eight days away from the start of the regular season... folks, we are in it. Hockey is back. And Carter Hart? He’s ready to flex on everybody.

*The official start of camp brought with it the news that Nolan Patrick is 100% cleared for contact and reportedly looked quite good during yesterday’s drills. Great news. [NBC Sports Philly]

*So with the start of the season in full swing, let’s take some time to examine the forwards competing for roster spots this week. [BSH]

*The league revealed the times for all of the games yesterday, so now we’ve got the complete schedule. All reasonable times! Bliss! [Flyers]

*Sure everyone is playing a short season, but it’s going to affect the Flyers differently than other teams. Probably. [BSH]
