*Happy St. Patrick’s Day to those who celebrate. Always remember that if you drink green beer your pee will be green later. Anyhoo, we play the stupid Rangers again tonight but let’s start with some good news:

*Monday night’s game against these Rangers was not what you would call “good” by any stretch. They did, however, win. Perhaps they can build on this. [NBC Sports Philly]

*Joel Farabee loves his teammates and that’s very sweet. What a sweet boy. [BSH]

*Speaking of dudes Joel Farabee loves, Claude Giroux took what looked like a knee-on-knee Monday night and AV is still pretty pissed about it. [Inquirer]

*Trade rumors persist and you still have to assume that Chuck is going to try and bring in some help on defense. Will it even help though? [BSH]

*As the rumors persist and the trade deadline moves ever closer, Charlie gets us all prepared with a rundown of what the Flyers need and how they might go about getting it. [The Athletic]

*If you’re getting excited about the possibility of that big rumored trade happening, great news! Elliotte Friedman is here to shut you right up. [Sportsnet]

*And finally, we are, somehow, halfway through this hockey season. Seems as good a time as any to check in on who is winning and who is losing. [USA Today]
