This team quit

Postgame 4/13

NHL: Philadelphia Flyers at Washington Capitals Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

The Philadelphia Flyers’ 6-1 loss to the Washington Capitals on Tuesday night was their seventh loss of the shortened season by at least five goals.

Five of those seven losses have come over the course of the last 16 games.

This team doesn’t have it to compete every night. They get thoroughly spanked way too often to even be able to claim to be working as hard as their opponents on a consistent basis.

This is the most embarrassing hockey team to play on Broad Street in quite some time. Maybe ever.

Just a disgrace.
