*Well here we are, friends. The last day of what has arguably been the worst Flyers season we’ve collectively experienced. Somehow, a game against the Devils feels like a fitting way to close this one out. Before we do, here’s what we learned from this weekend’s split with the Washington Capitals. [BSH]

*If you haven’t received your vaccine yet, you can head on down to the Farg tonight and get a shot AND a hockey game. [Inquirer]

*This year’s team awards will be given out this evening. We’ll be sharing our predictions later, but who do you have winning? [Inquirer]

*Yesterday was Mother’s Day, of course, and Sam Morin shared a lovely story about his mom that’s definitely worth the read. [NBC Sports Philly]

*As thoughts turn to the offseason and next year, we’ll all be talking soon enough about who stays and who goes. It’ll be interesting to see where Ghost falls after having a pretty strong season. [Inquirer]

*Then we’ve got the real main event for this summer, the expansion draft. Charlie sat down with his Kraken counterpart to talk draft strategy. [The Athletic]

*Anyhoo, our old pal Rick Tocchet will probably be looking for a new job soon. [Five For Howling]

*In fun hockey news, Connor McDavid. Everyone should really enjoy watching this kid play because it’s very likely that, in 20 years or so, we’ll be talking about him with Gretzky on the side. [Copper & Blue]

*And finally, in case you missed it Friday, there is a brand new Flyperbole for you to enjoy on the podcasting app of your choice. [BSH]
