*Seems like summer came quickly in FlyersLand. Not much to report. At all. So, anyone keeping up with the Worlds tourney? Russia seems to be the team to beat at the moment. [BSH]

*And Team Russia is about to get a little better now that Vladimir Tarasenko is free. [St. Louis Game Time]

*It should be (it better be!!!!) a busy summer for Chuck Fletcher, so we might as well make ourselves familiar with this year’s crop of free agents. A lot of very enticing names on this list, to be sure. [ProHockeyTalk]

*This is pretty interesting, and something I didn’t know about: 37 goalies changed their equipment this season, which is a rare thing for any goalie to do. So what prompted so many of them to abandon their old stuff for new? [The Athletic]

*The Canes-Preds series has been outstanding to watch. And this is an outstanding deep-dive into how the Predators managed to come out on top in the two games that ended up in overtime. [On The Forecheck]

*And finally, it’s that time of year again: time to rank the Old Guys Without A Cup. Top of the list should be no surprise this year. [The Athletic]
