While it does suck to see the most exciting kids gone from Flyers camp, there's rationale behind the decision. Their longterm development is what's most important here, and with the junior seasons almost set to start, it's better for them to get that full year in with their respective clubs.
They're players for the future - and it'll be a really, really awesome future! But the future just isn't now.

It's been a wild summer of Hakstol, and soon, we'll actually get to see him put into practice. But for now, just listening to him talk about what hockey meant to him, and seeing how he helped out these kids - it's hard not to get excited!
