Another year of questions in the crease

January 4, 2024: The Philadelphia Flyers play a game against the Columbus Blue Jackets at the Wells Fargo Center.

For a minute there, it seemed like the Flyers were free of this dilemma.

After years upon years of inconsistency and shake-up in between the pipes, (a literal lifetime for your writer), it looked as if the Flyers were going to be set in net for at least the next five years, if not longer.

But the allegations against Carter Hart and his 2018 Canadian World Junior were severe and substantiated enough for the Flyers organization to rightfully cut ties, and sent the team wandering back into the goaltending wilderness once again, unequipped for the rest of the season, with only a handful of backups to try and make for up the games lost.
