BSH Radio reacts following a 2-1 victory over Buffalo

Five in a row? Five in a row!

The hockey team the Flyers have won five straight games, their latest victory a 2-1 decision over the Eastern Conference cellar-dwelling Buffalo Sabres on Thursday night at the Wells Fargo Center.

Travis Sanheim put the biscuit in the basket for the first time as an NHLer. Jake Voracek picked up his league-leading 31st assist, setting up Valtteri Filppula’s eighth goal of the year. And Brian Elliott stopped 19 of Buffalo’s 20 shots to pick up his 11th win of the season and extend his streak of allowing two or fewer goals to five straight games, matching Philadelphia’s own winning streak.

Check out Bill’s Facebook Live post-game reactions to a game he described as about as much of a “must win” as a team can play in December.
