It’s the season of giving and our friends at Snider Hockey have just launched a new recurring donation program dubbed “The Roster,” which will help provide for educational and athletic development for under-serviced youth in the Greater Philadelphia area by giving donors the opportunity to subscribe and donate on a monthly basis.
Donors can choose from four membership tiers—Teammate, Playmaker, Captain, and Champion.
The Teammate tier starts at $5 a month and includes perks such as monthly updates on program impact and access to the Snider Suite Advantage Program, which offers early ticket access and premium seating at Snider Hockey games and events.
The Playmaker tier moves to $25 a month and gets subscribers a welcome box with a Snider-branded shirt, sticker, and thank you note.
At $50, the Captain tier adds premium access to the Suite Advantage Program on top of all of the perks of the lower tiers.
And finally, the $100 Champion tier includes all of the above plus an annual Snider-branded gift and priority registration to donor events.
There is also a referral rewards aspect, where members who refer new donors receive additional rewards.
The donations directly fund Snider Hockey programs, like the After School Excellence Program, Life Skills and Healthy Living, the After School tutoring program, Reading Buddies, and scholarships that provide students opportunities to receive secondary/post-secondary educations.
Snider Hockey was created by founder and former owner and chairman of the Philadelphia Flyers, the late Ed Snider in 2005. The organization’s stated core values include accountability, excellence, inclusiveness, integrity, opportunity, and teamwork.
