Flyers prospect Pascal Laberge scores a shootout goal so sick it doesn’t get to count

The Philadelphia Flyers had three second round picks to work with in the 2016 draft – and for their first one, they chose Pascal Laberge, a center who had just scored 68 points over 56 games in his draft season.

You can’t score that much if you don’t have talent. And that’s exactly what Laberge showed off in the shootout during a recent Victoriaville Tigres game against the Quebec Remparts:

cash me outside how bout dat 🤓

Now that’s awesome. The patience on that is awesome, the between the legs move—

But because the puck moved backwards – and you can see it clearly do that – the shootout goal doesn’t count. (Still doesn’t take away from the fact that it happened, though, and Laberge has the talent to do that.)

No worries for Laberge and the Tigres, though – they won 4-3, and Laberge got first star of the game with a goal and assist.

Hopefully the next time he shows off those sweet moves, it’ll count on the scoreboard!
