*The Flyers’ coaching search doesn’t look like it’s going to be wrapped up anytime soon, so we still have tons of time to sit here and galaxy brain potential options to fill the vacancy. [BSH]

*Some might argue that Phantoms coach Ian Laperriere presents as an interesting internal candidate for the job as well. [NBCSP]

*Word on the street is Noah Cates is going to be heading to arbitration for his next contract extension. [DFO]

*Sam Ersson’s had a tough couple of seasons here, but we have a lot of faith that the best is still in front of him. [BSH]

*It was, though, an even rougher season for Aleksei Kolosov. And who knows what’s going to happen going forward with that whole situation. [BSH]

*The U18s are all wrapped up, and Alex over at PHLY has all the news and notes and standouts from the tournament. [PHLY]

*And finally, something nice: Denver Barkey was awarded the honor of the OHL’s humanitarian of the year. [CHL]
