*This summer might not have been the absolute biggest possible one for the Flyers, but they have made some important strides in one area: advancing their budding rivalry with the Ducks, and who can hate that? [Inquirer]

*The Flyers may have lost out on the offer sheet to Leo Carlsson, but they did still manage to trap the Ducks in one of the league’s worst contracts, as decided by The Experts. [BSH]
