*Well it’s been official, but with the old sign going down and the new sign going up, it’s officially official. Welcome to the Xfinity era. [Inquirer]

*Got some pretty good news yesterday about Tyson Foerster. [BSH]

*If he’s ready at the start of the season that will be huge, both for the team as a whole and for himself as a player. [NBC Sports Philly]

*With Foerster’s spot on the wing ostensibly filled, training camp just got a lot more interesting. Battle for the remaining spots will be that much more intense, one assumes. [BSH]

*While they might not be a part of the battle for a Flyers’ roster spot, quite a few Phantoms are looking to take a step forward under their new head coach. Like these guys, for example. [PHLY]

*It’s been a long, long time since a Flyer scored 50 goals in a single season. Feels like we are due. So, who is going to be the guy to do it? [BSH]

*And finally, the question “will the rising cap end parity in the league?” really begs the follow-up question: “uh… what parity?” [The Athletic]
