*Sometimes, the universe delivers the needed result. Team Canada wins the 4 Nations Face-Off in a wild OT, with Connor McDavid sealing the deal. Congrats, pals. [Sportsnet]

*Two things became clear over the last couple weeks: international best-on-best is the pinnacle of hockey and also Team USA is closer than they have ever been to maybe, just maybe, finally beating Team Canada. On to the Olympics!! [ESPN]

*Folks there was zero hockey content yesterday outside of “here’s what to look for in tonight’s Big Game.” And that content doesn’t really work for tomorrow, post-game, know what I mean? Linking ain’t easy. We brought you the second batch of players in the Winter 25 Under 25, though! [BSH]

*Apparently there was an attempt at some friendly wagering on last night’s game in the Flyers’ locker room. [Inquirer]

*The Flyers are finally back in action tomorrow and they might be back with a bunch of guys we haven’t seen in a while, which will be very cool. Good time to think about what this team looks like with every player available to play. [The Athletic]

*The Flyers peewee team is still having a grand old time up in Quebec. And so are their billet families! [NBC Sports Philly]
