*And the Flyers weren’t even the only team considering throwing an offer sheet at Carlsson, but he chose to sign with them, which should tell you something, even if he doesn’t end up landing here. [BSH]
*There’s still a lot that needs to happen, and it’s certainly not guaranteed that Carlsson ends up with the Flyers in the end, but it’s hard not to feel like he might just be a perfect fit for them. [BSH]
*You have to think Anaheim is going to do all that they can to clear the space to allow themselves to match this offer sheet, but the bit of an overpay that they just dealt to Pavel Mintyukov isn’t really doing them any favors. [BSH]
