Today’s open discussion thread, complete with your daily dose of Philadelphia Flyers news and notes…

*After that abysmal performance with that weird lineup against CBJ last week, this weekend’s game against the Flames was going to be a real test for the Flyers. Turning things around, and such. And boy did they deliver! RECAP!

*It was a spicy game and precisely the kind of win that Ed Snider would’ve loved to see on his birthday. [NBC Sports Philly]

*Indeed it was the perfect game to mark the first Ed Snider Legacy Game, a new tradition the Flyers’ organization says was long overdue, given everything the man gave the city of Philadelphia. [Inquirer]

*The game wasn’t the only throwback we got this weekend; Charlie brought back 10 Things! [PHLY]

*After meeting with John Tortorella following his being scratched, again, against the Beej, Morgan Frost was back in the lineup and did well to prove he belongs there. [The Athletic]

*Travis Konecny had another monster game and is on the precipice of doing something the NHL hasn’t seen since the 80s. It’s crazy how good he’s been this year. [BSH]

*And finally, with the process back on track and this team continuing to look like it is headed for the playoffs… Philadelphia Buyers? Probably not, but Briere’s plan for the trade deadline is definitely not as obvious as we all thought it would be at the start of this season. [The Athletic]
