*We’ll kick things off with a bit of news, as the Flyers were able to knock out some business and get one of their depth centers signed to an extension. [BSH]

*And then in more broad news, just as it looked like the market for a Larkin trade was heating up, the Flyers might just have found themselves out of the hunt for that one. [BSH]

*Of course, that might not be the worst thing for the Flyers? Let’s dig into the counterargument a bit, shall we? [BSH]

*Some would still argue that the Flyers would make sense as a trade partner for the Red Wings. [The Athletic]

*Trade coming or not, the Flyers could take some big lessons from how things have gone sideways out in Detroit. [BSH]

*Elsewhere in the world of trades, Yegor Zavragin is on the move over in Russia, and that might just have some broader implications on his timeline to move on over to North America. [BSH]

*Darnell Nurse’s name is one that’s been kicking around in trade rumblings, and on that topic, let us just say… no thank you. [BSH]

*Speaking of defensemen, Nick Seeler had himself a very Nick Seeler season. [BSH]

*Okay, and now to shift back into Draft Mode. We’re advancing on our Community Draft Board, and we’re getting acquainted with a couple of interesting wingers. First up, Adam Novotny. [BSH]

*And then there’s the late-rising Wyatt Cullen. [BSH]

*Up at the combine in Buffalo, the important business is being done. [Inquirer]

*And from there, we’re starting to get a picture of the players the Flyers have been talking with. [BSH]

*Also, based on how things are shaking out, we just KNOW who the Flyers are going to be looking at. [BSH]

*Anyway, the Flyers didn’t come away with any awards from the NHL this year, but a bunch of guys got some good nods, and that’s something! [BSH]
