*We’ve got a brand new week upon us, folks! But it’s the same as the old week, in some ways, namely in that we still cannot and will not stop talking about the draft. First up, we’re here with a look at who The Experts have the Flyers drafting with that sixth overall pick. [BSH]

*As well as who we’re dreaming that they will take with that pick. [BSH]

*We also have a bit of Community Draft Board action to catch up on, as we move into the 40s and check in with William Moore, and interesting, potentially high end skills haver, but ultimately still pretty raw center coming out of the National Team Development Program. [BSH]

*And for some more draft talk, we’re talking Cameron Schmidt (who you may recall from one of our earlier Community Draft Board posts). [NBCSP]

*Some interesting news draft-eligible prospect news was also finally confirmed this weekend — Jackson Smith, one of the top defense prospects in this class, will be leaving the WHL and heading to Penn State for next season. [Onward State]

*And back to players that have been drafted and exist firmly in the system with the Flyers: Tyson Foerster had himself a pretty, pretty good season! [BSH]

*We also had some sprinklings of Flyers talk floating around over these last few days. First up, a look at the Flyers’ (and everyone else’s) best value contracts from this past season. [The Athletic]

*Also, one free agent worth targeting for each team around the league (and the choice for the Flyers is… not overly surprising). [The Athletic]

*Elsewhere in the hockey world, the Panthers have managed to push the Oilers to the brink of elimination, and Brad Marchand is on a pretty incredible tear here. [ESPN]

*On the other side, the Oilers are trying mightily to get their scoring game going again. [TSN]

*And finally, not so much a news item in need of catching up on as a preview of something coming: the names on the preliminary rosters for the Olympic teams will begin trickling out before too long at all.
