*We’ll kick things right off with the big news of the weekend: while we’re taking this all with a big grain of salt, there has been a report out of Russia that Matvei Michkov will be on his way to Philadelphia sooner rather than later. [BSH]

*And this, of course, would have some pretty serious implications for the Flyers and their place in their rebuild. [BSH]

*This weekend also marked the 50 year anniversary of the Flyers’ first Stanley Cup win, and we’re having a little look back at that. [BSH]

*And even with the great amount of time passed, Bobby Clarke is still keeping this win in perspective. [Morning Call]

*The Flyers are still working to keep the legacy of one of those Cup winners, in Barry Ashbee, alive. [Inquirer]

*The 2024 Community Draft Board presses on, and in our seventh place spot is crafty offensive defenseman Zeev Buium. [BSH]

*Your 2024 Selke Trophy winner has been announced… [NHL]

*And another continuation of an offseason series, in our next player review, we’re taking a look at Noah Cates’s season, where he took a step back (but maybe not as dramatically as some think). [BSH]

*The dream is dead: Rod Brind’Amour has signed a multi-year contract extension with the Carolina Hurricanes. [NHL]

*The NHL has a goaltender interference review problem, and it needs fixing fast. [NYT]
