*It was a big time busy weekend around here in Flyers-land, and we have a whole lot to catch up on, so let’s get straight into it. We’ll begin with the bit of news that came down on Saturday before the game, that the Flyers made another small cut from their training camp roster. [BSH]

*Speaking of that Saturday game, despite facing a much weaker Bruins squad, the Flyers fell a little flat, got beaten by some silly mistakes, and dropped the first game of this home-and-home series in progress. [BSH]

*One fun thing, though, was the goal that Trevor Zegras and Matvei Michkov were able to combine for. [BSH]
*Rick Tocchet acknowledged that there are definitely some things that the Flyers are going to need to clean up down this home stretch to close out the preseason. [NBCSP]

*Trevor Zegras is definitely one of the more exciting acquisitions for the Flyers in recent memory, and he’s definitely having as much fun being here as we are watching him. [BSH]
*There’s also some exciting chemistry building between him and Matvei Michkov, but it’s still a bit of a question mark who might be able to slide in as the third member of their line. [BSH]
*After Saturday’s game, we’re wondering if Christian Dvorak might just be the answer to that. [Inquirer]
*Samu Tuomaala was among the Flyers’ second to last round of cuts, a little earlier than some might have expected, and we have to wonder what this means for his standing in the organization. [BSH]
