*It was NHL Combine weekend up in Buffalo this weekend, which means we got a lot of measuring information! Here’s a wrap on how the top Kids looked. [Inquirer]

*One of the Flyers’ potential (maybe?) targets at 6th overall models his game after Travis Konecny, which is pretty neat. [BSH]

*Speaking of potential targets, here’s what three of the top candidates had to say at the Combine this weekend. [Inquirer]

*And if we’re going to speculate about who the Flyers are really considering, we might want to look at the list of kids they took to dinner over the weekend. [BSH]

*One of those kids, Jake O’Brien, seems to inspire David Krejci comparisons. Which cannot be a bad thing. [NBC Sports Philly]

*And then there’s Caleb Desnoyers, who might not be particularly elite at anything but seems to be pretty good at everything. [NBC Sports Philly]

*Wrapping up today’s draft links is #35 on your Community Draft Board, who is an underrated center that might come with some good potential. [BSH]

*This weekend we also learned that Danny B. might have a little something cooking over in Russia. [BSH]

*We all got to experience a pretty sick hockey game Friday night, with the Panthers tying the series at 1-1 after two overtimes. [ESPN]

*The game also brought with it yet another “oopsie I almost killed the goalie my bad” moment from Sam Bennett, which seems to be a running theme for him. Doesn’t seem like a good thing for the league to continue to allow! [Sportsnet]

*Mitch Marner continues to be the crown jewel of this summer’s UFA class, but that doesn’t mean every team should be going hard to try to land him. [The Athletic]

*And finally, related, here are a few free agents the Flyers maybe should go hard to try to land. [BSH]

*OH! You’re coming to the draft party, right? We’re doing tickets this year just to keep a handle on the number of people attending; all proceeds from the ticket sales will be going to Snider Hockey! Make sure you get yours before we run out of space!
