New Jersey Devils @ New York Rangers
The away team has won all three games thus far in the series. After winning the first two games on the road in New Jersey, the Rangers dropped the third game in overtime 2-1. New York dominated the first two games and played well enough to win the second, but going 0-5 on the power-play proved to be the difference maker. The Rangers have proved the entire series they are the better team and the one built more for the playoffs. Couple that with the home fans behind them and I think it’s going to be a long night for Jersey. Tonight they buck the trend of the road team winning and take a 3-1 series lead.
Pick: Rangers Money line (-162)
Vegas Golden Knights @ Winnipeg Jets
This has been a really tough series to judge. The first two games were not close with scores of 5-1 and 5-2. The third game was heading that direction until the Jets scored 3 unanswered in the third period to send it to overtime. The Golden Knights ended up winning the game but I think the third period sparked something in the Jets. Connor Hellebuyck hasn’t had his A game so far in the series and I expect that tonight.
