The little break was nice, but it\'s even nicer to be back at it, talking prospect happenings. And it was another busy week as we approach the stretch run for all of these teams, so let\'s dive straight into the action. The News of the Week It\'s a reasonably light news report this week, but the big notable bit is that Jack Berglund was able to get back to it this past weekend, playing his first games since he fractured his hand in pre-tournament action at the World Juniors. In some ways, he\'s back a little sooner than we might have expected, so that\'s nice to see. Also notable is the bit of news that hasn\'t come down this week -- that is, with the Flyers back and practicing, they\'re still holding on to Aleksei Kolosov on their roster, rather than sending him down to join the Phantoms on their road trip. Which is... something. Three Stars Olle Lycksell Back with the Phantoms, Lycksell is continuing to do what he does in the AHL -- play a ton of minutes and clean up on offense. To this end, over his last four games played, he\'s put up one goal and four assists, and continued to look like one of the team\'s most dynamic players when he\'s out there on the ice, the closest thing to a game breaker that they have on a more or less consistent basis. And, it remains, that while the offense on the team level has been a little streaky, he\'s continuing to be a consistent driver of the offense they are getting. There\'s no slowing him down, it would seem. Jett Luchanko And then up in Guelph, things are continuing to click well for Jett Luchanko, even if the team is still finding that it\'s struggling on a more collective level. This week, Luchanko took a break from scoring a ton of goals for the team to drive their offense to setting up a ton of them -- that is, over his last two games, he\'s chipped in five whole assists. Luchanko\'s presence on that team has always felt like a big one, but he\'s continuing to find ways to support positive play, even if he isn\'t getting the scoring luck to just continue to pile up goals. He\'s finding ways to be effective in whatever area of the game\'s required of him. Denver Barkey Over in London, Barkey is just finding new and more inventive ways to impress. For starters, over his last two games played, he put up a tidy three goals and an assist, which is an impressive figure in isolation, but in context, it pops even more. That is, two of those goals he scored (both in the Monday game) were shorthanded, and marked a matching and then a breaking of the franchise record for most shorthanded goals scored across a career with the Knights. He\'s up to 13, and with the way everything seems to be clicking for him right now, we wouldn\'t be surprised to see him pull away on that record before the season\'s out. Honorable Mentions We\'ll stick around in London for a little while longer because, lest we forget, Oliver Bonk also had himself a productive week. It wasn\'t quite as flashy, but his goal and assist over his last two games are certainly impressive as well, and he\'s maintaining his form nicely. Down in the North American junior ranks, we\'ve found some production as well, as Heikki Ruohonen seems to be picking up some momentum -- after a bit of a slow return to form after getting back from World Juniors, he\'s rolling pretty nicely now, and has four assists over his last three games. Speaking of World Juniors, as we said at the top, Berglund played his first bit of game action since the World Junior pre-tournament, and he\'s been able to hit the ground running. He\'s kind of easing back into things at the J20 level -- as we recall, he was bounced back and forth between there and the SHL through the early season -- and he has an assist in each of his first three games back. And then over in the MHL, Ilya Pautov found a bit of production this past weekend, playing in two games and chipping in a goal over that span. Back to North America, the production for the prospects on the Phantoms has also been clicking reasonably nicely. Samu Tuomaala, who was building momentum again at long last before the break, has kept it rolling on the other side of it, and he put up a goal (before he missed the next two games with a minor injury). Outside of that, Alexis Gendron has continued to score at a reasonably high rate, and he had himself a two-goal outing last weekend against Syracuse (his third of the season), while Massimo Rizzo chipped in a pair of assists over his last four games played. And finally, we\'ll close things out with a note on a nice weekend over in the NCAA. Alex Bump, still on a tear, chipped in two goals in Western Michigan\'s pair of wins in the series over Omaha. Devin Kaplan matched that number over the weekend as well, putting up two goals in BU\'s loss to Providence -- his first points since the first weekend of the month, when he put up two goals on Harvard. Still with the twos, Cole Knuble had his scoring supressed a bit, but still managed two assists in Notre Dame\'s pair of losses to Penn State.
