It’s been a tough week for the Phantoms. It began with them getting veritably whacked by the Rockford IceHogs on Wednesday, losing by a 7-3 margin (down at one point 7-1), they got back on the ice for Saturday’s game against Hershey looking to bounce back in a big way, but ultimately found themselves falling short again. They put together a solid effort, all in all, against a tough Hershey team, and they had the win within their reach on a couple of occasions, but each time found a way to let it get away from them.
It was a couple of small but major breakdowns which cost them in this one, and it left their head coach with some real frustration mounting.
