No. 5: Joel Farabee
There might not be a player on this Flyers team that fans want to see traded more than Joel Farabee. It’s not because they don’t like him — they just seem to think he’s plateaued and would serve the rebuild better as part of a trade to acquire a top-line center or defenseman. However, last season, Farabee had stretches where he wasn’t just a good forward, but one of the better ones in the entire league.
It’s important to break Farabee’s season into two halves, because in one half he looked like a dynamic, top-line, even-strength play driving left wing, and in the other half…well, most of his time was spent on the fourth line, and even there he looked out of sorts.
