Thanks to our own Matvei Michkov, we have a new catchphrase and a nice little shirt to go with it.
While sharing the news of him signing his entry-level contract and starting a whole new era of Philadelphia Flyers hockey, top prospect Matvei Michkov went to Instagram and shared the Flyers’ own post and added his own flair.
“Let’s go Flayers” was written with some nice little orange and black emojis.
We are just as excited as he is, and it is just so endearing to have a player of his caliber to suddenly just start a very Online catchphrase that we will all be saying from now on.
To commemorate the hot new thing we will probably be repeating to each other ad nauseum, we at Broad Street Hockey all got together and realized that this kind of sounds like Slayer. You know, Slayer, the metal band. The one with the cool logo.
Well, this shirt was born out of this and now we have a very cool piece of merch, if we do say so ourselves. It comes in black and light variations to fit anyone’s wardrobe, and you can also buy a sticker of it. Cool!
