We’ve reached the end of the line, folks! After well over a month’s worth of work, toiling through these picks, we’ve made it all the way through our approximation of the first round.
It was another spectacular edition of the Community Draft Board, and we thank you for your participation in it. We have a 32 prospects profiled and a first round order which is still close enough to the consolidated or consensus ranking, but still carries our own flair. The order is perfect, because it is ours (and that final order, for those keeping track at home, is also below).

The groups is, on the whole, a reasonably well-balanced one — filled out with 13 wingers, nine centers, and 10 defensemen, giving teams who are leaning towards drafting for positional need a wealth of options to choose from.
This draft might not be the deepest that we’ve seen in recent memory — not by any stretch of the imagination — but this exercise, as always, was useful in reminding us that, even if this draft isn’t going to be a case where teams are getting still very high-end, top of the lineup players well into the teens, there’s still different types of value that players in the range the Flyers are set to select in that range, and steals to be found if the board breaks their way.
But that’s enough said about that. We’ve worked through this process, we’ve familiarized ourselves with some names — and have those reference points waiting for whoever the Flyers do select — and all that’s left to do is enjoy the day and its unfolding.
