*FOLKS! Today, Thursday, this morning, the Flyers training camp begins and that means hockey season is officially upon us! It’s all happening now! As we get started, here are some storylines to follow through this year’s camp. [Inquirer]
*We’ve been saying that this is a big year for roster battles. A lot of kids competing for spots on The Big Team. These are the guys we think are on the bubble and will really need to show out if they’re going to make it on. [BSH]
*Perhaps the biggest sleeper, and perhaps the kid with the biggest opportunity to shock us all collectively, is this year’s first round pick, Maksim Sokolovskii. [BSH]
*Danny Briere said that dumb thing about the fact that the Flyers maybe possibly could take a step back this season after making it to the second round last year. If that does actually happen, it could spell bad things for the rebuild as whole. Theoretically. [The Athletic]
