*It’s almost time to turn the page and move on to the next Flyers game, but for now, we’re still basking in the glow of that exciting win over the Penguins on Tuesday. We already broke down our main takeaways yesterday, but if you’re looking for a little more, Charlie has his here. [PHLY]
*And it really was an exciting game, seeing some more bite added into a sort of cooling rivalry, and the Flyers coming together even more in the face of it. [BSH]
*There was a lot to like in that one, broadly, but certainly towards the top of the list is the, shall we say, high-event game that Trevor Zegras had himself. [BSH]
*With all of that in mind, it’s pretty clear how Zegras has already done such major work to make himself a fan favorite already. [The Athletic]
*But for him, too, he’s refining his approach to the game and making himself into an even more impactful player for the Flyers for it. [NBCSP]
*Speaking of players who are on absolute tears right now, Bobby Brink came out on the other side of a difficult situation and relationship with the previous coaching staff, and he’s playing some of the best hockey of his career. [Inquirer]
*His lineman Noah Cates is also putting up some pretty stellar results in very difficult matchups, and frankly more people should be talking about that. [BSH]
*Tuesday night’s was a good game, all things considered, for Sam Ersson. But while the Flyers might have been hoping that this could have been a springboard into a longer run of good games for him, he may have instead hit a bit of a bump in the road, as he’s now listed as day-to-day after tweaking something in practice. [DFO]
*In other news, our pal Maddie (that’s me!) has this week’s Phantoms update over for PHLY. [PHLY]
*And finally, we’re keeping the spooky vibes rolling: we’re talking horror movies! [BSH]
